As a young boy, I was always at my grandparents’ side when they were working in their own large vegetable garden. They introduced me to the wonder of many vegetables such as beans, tomatoes, carrots, potatoes, raspberries and strawberries, as well as annual flowers for cutting. During my teens, I would have a small garden with my own favorites, like pumpkins for jack-o’-lanterns, tomatoes and red hot radishes.

When I had my own home, I continued gardening. I now pursue my love of everything green using sustainable techniques. Let me introduce you to these techniques in your own garden.
